I was cleaning my cupboards and found an old book that I had read in my mid twenties. It was Will Durand's Philosophy of life. I started to re read the book and after a few pages, my thoughts started wandering. It was then I asked myself "why haven't there been great women philosopher that have been universally acknowledged". That made me then think that one could ask that q about every other discipline.
Is it because we are biologically wired to not think beyond our small spheres of family & friends? Or that we could not care less about such things. I simply don't know. I can only hope that soon women will prove me wrong.
